The country experienced some respite from the debilitating power cuts in August soon after the country put in place a deal with South Africa’s power utility, Eskom to supply an additional 400 MW. However, the improved power supplies were experienced for a few days before ZESA announced that load shedding has been downgraded to Stage 2 where power is available for about 8 hours a day. *More: Chronicle* _If you found this article useful_ *Please support Pindula by forwarding to friends and groups*
