WhatsApp: 0️⃣7️⃣8️⃣3️⃣ 4️⃣5️⃣0️⃣ 7️⃣9️⃣3️⃣ ---------- > As the vanguard of the party, the Youth League cannot leave President Emmerson Mnangagwa alone to fight the cartels in the economy. We are fully aware of all the corrupt cartels and very soon we will be exposing the rogue elements. Matutu said that in resonance with the move taken by president Emmerson Mnangagwa to fight corruption, the ZANU-PF youth league was going to expose those people involved in corruption. He also called the business community to observe government policies. Matutu views the shortage of bread and other basic commodities on the market as mere sabotage by business entities that are motivated to see the government failing. His remarks come after Grain Millers Association of Zimbabwe (GMAZ) vice-chairperson Masimba Dzomba announced that the country was only left with one month supply of wheat. Political analyst Eldred Masunungure, a political science lecturer at the University of Zimbabwe argues that there is only rhetoric on the fight against corruption which is not backed by action. This was reiterated by a ZANU-PF member, Never Maswerasei who claimed that the leaders were lying that they were fighting corruption. This comes when some senior ZANU-PF officials at the party headquarters are reportedly asking huge kickbacks from investors for their interests to be quickly processed.
