The country needs dialogue and healing. As MDC we will give dialogue a chance. While both Mnangagwa and the MDC have expressed willingness to talk, the two sides are poles apart on what to talk about and how. The MDC wants the dialogue to be centred on issues to do with Mnangagwa’s legitimacy as it has rejected his victory in the 2018 elections while Mnangagwa has demanded that the former join little-known losing candidates in the presidential election within the State House dialogue framework. The MDC has also insisted on having an external mediator while Mnangagwa has supported the National Peace and Reconciliation Commission in playing the role. _If you found this article useful_ *Please support Pindula by forwarding to friends and groups*
