Zanu-PF Masvingo provincial chair Ezra Chadzamira threatened to punish members in Gutu East and Chiredzi West who have not accepted the outcome of the primary elections in the two constituencies.

In Gutu East, Mafios Mlambo’s supporters want a rerun. The primary election was won by the incumbent legislator Berita Chikwama. In Chiredzi West, incumbent Member of Parliament Darlington Chiwa is refusing to recognise the victory of former Tongaat Hulett director Farai Musikavanhu.
