Nzuwah received his retirement letter from the Office Of the President and Cabinet as he has reached the retirement age of 65. He has been replaced by his former deputy, Mary Margaret Muchada until a substantive replacement is found. Nzuwah served as the chairperson of the CSC for more than two decades after taking over from Malcolm Thompson in 1992.
