*Government Reviewing New Curriculum, Suspends Tasks, Continuous Assessment For O Level, A Level Exam Classes* *Follow Pindula on WhatsApp for daily new updates* https://whatsapp.com/channel/0029Va84dngJP21B2nWeyM3v?hf The government through the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education has acquiesced to demands from parents and stakeholders by suspending continuous assessment for this year’s Ordinary and Advanced Level classes. The tasks and continuous assessment were introduced as part of the new curriculum by the much-maligned former Minister of Primary and Secondary Education Lazarus Dokora. However, teachers and parents complained about the way the new curriculum had been implemented saying that there was inadequate consultation as well as poor planning. However, when Dokora was fired by President Emmerson Mnangagwa, his replacement Professor Paul Mavima initially said that the New Curriculum was not going anywhere. He later conceded that the government was going to review the new curriculum in order to address the concerns of parents and teachers such as the contentious issues of tasks. ---------- *HOT DEALS:* *itel A70 - (128GB, 3GB RAM) $89,* *itel A70 - (256GB, 4GB RAM) $99* *itel P40 (128GB, 4GB), (6000mAh) $99* *itel P40 (64GB, 4G), (6000mAh) $93* *LATEST: itel S24 (128) $124; S24 (256GB) $159* Cash on Delivery in Harare & Bulawayo.
