Norton MP Temba Mliswa accused Zanu-PF MP Shadreck Mashayamombe of masterminding Jah Prayzah’s attack at former aide Crispen Nyemba’s burial on Tuesday.

There were earlier reports on social media that Jah Prayzah was attacked by members of the G40 Faction because he is singing songs sympathetic to Vice President Emmerson Mnangagwa. Mliswa accused Mashayamombe of being behind Jah Prayzah’s attack after he raised a point of order. Mliswa was angry that Mashayamombe had urged MPs to stop complaining about their welfare which has dominated parliament proceedings of late. Said Mliswa:

_You are a land baron, you are a land baron.  Go and get your money from those people that you sold stands to, we do not have money. I am not Jah Prazah that you can cause to be assaulted.  You are a thug and I am not a thug.  Did you not cause the assault of Jah Prazah.  We will get to the bottom of this – I am done with you._
