*Teachers in uproar as some schools now using CCTV to monitor them* *Follow Pindula on WhatsApp for daily new updates* https://whatsapp.com/channel/0029Va84dngJP21B2nWeyM3v?xv Teachers in Bulawayo have raised concerns about some schools that are now placing Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) in classrooms in order to monitor the performances of the teachers. The teachers decried the fact that the schools were prioritising “witch-hunting mechanisms” at the expense of learning enhancement tools for the pupils. They also argue that the move was made without any consultation. Zimbabwe Teachers Association Chief Executive Officer Mr Sifiso Ndlovu saaid there were more acceptable ways to monitor and supervise teachers. The Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education Dr Sylvia Utete-Masango said despite the fact that her ministry was not aware of the new developments, it had no problems with the use of CCTV. ---------- *HOT DEALS:* *itel A70 - (128GB, 3GB RAM) $89,* *itel A70 - (256GB, 4GB RAM) $99* *itel P40 (128GB, 4GB), (6000mAh) $99* *itel P40 (64GB, 4G), (6000mAh) $93* *LATEST: itel S24 (128) $124; S24 (256GB) $159* Cash on Delivery in Harare & Bulawayo.
