The accident occurred on Saturday at around 4PM near Vashandiri Study Centre in Mkoba 12. The commuter omnibus had no passengers at the time of the accident but is said to have been rushing to town since it was peak hour. Witnesses told The Chronicle that the deceased were dragged for about two metres while under the commuter omnibus as the driver tried to speed away from the scene. The driver later stopped but bolted from the scene leaving his vehicle — a Nissan Caravan. He later handed himself to the police and is assisting with investigations. ---------- *HOT DEALS:* *itel A70 - (128GB, 3GB RAM) $89,* *itel A70 - (256GB, 4GB RAM) $99* *itel P40 (128GB, 4GB), (6000mAh) $99* *itel P40 (64GB, 4G), (6000mAh) $93* *LATEST: itel S24 (128) $124; S24 (256GB) $159* Cash on Delivery in Harare & Bulawayo.
