However, Chief Law Officer Mr Michael Mugabe told the magistrate court the prosecution intended to indict Magaya for trial at the High Court despite the woman’s affidavit. In his affidavit in support of the written application filed today, Magaya claimed he was a victim of fabricated rape charges and said the State’s intention to proceed with the matter was an abuse of judicial process.
