Zifa has agreed to Cameroon’s conditions for a friendly match to be played on January 10, 2017 ahead of the Warrior‘s third appearance at the Afcon finals which will be held in Gabon.

In an email sent to Zifa, Cameroon’s official match agent Joe Kamga said:

_After our conversation I address you this email to offer the possibility to play a friendly match, between you ‘A’ men national team and the national team of Cameroon of the same status on 10th January in Cameroon. The conditions of the match will be as follows:_

_We can invite you for four days/three nights, 32 persons in Cameroon in full board accommodation, local transportation, security, match logistics, visas etc_

In turn Zifa agreed and said that the game against the Indomitable Lions will be Zimbabwe’s fourth and final match for head coach Calisto Pasuwa to assess the Warriors’ preparedness for a tough Afcon challenge. Before their match with Cameroon, Zimbabwe will play Ivory Coast on Boxing Day.
