Mayor Tatenda Nhamarare confirmed the development yesterday, saying the council was planning to re-advertise the post this week. The three candidates whose CVs had been submitted to the LGB include current Rusape town secretary, Joshua Maligwa, Christian Sithole and Ronnie Dube. The seat fell vacant after former town clerk, Obert Muzawazi quit the post early this year after being implicated in various financial misdemeanours during an audit sanctioned by Local Government minister Saviour Kasukuwere.
