The National Social Security Authority (NSSA) says it will award pensioners part of their bonuses in United States dollars this December.

It added that the difference for all pensioners will be paid in Zimbabwe dollars.

In a statement, NSSA said it is in the process of opening Nostro Accounts for its pensioners. It said:

> Good news all NSSA pensioners! You will be paid 13th cheque bonuses this December. We are in the process of opening Nostro Accounts with your respective banks and you can begin to access your money by the 16th of December.

NSSA said retirement pensioners will be paid US$30, other pensioners will get US$20 and those receiving shared pensions will share the bonuses equally.

It also said pensioners under the Accident Prevention and Worker’s Compensation scheme (APWCS) will be paid up to a maximum of US$35, subject to one’s entitlement. | Chronicle
