However, by this afternoon both the cloud band and the cloudy and cool conditions due to the south-easterly airflow were drifting further eastward out of the country. *FORECAST FOR TOMORROW, WEDNESDAY 16 NOVEMBER 2022* Brief cloudy periods and isolated showers are expected in the northeastern parts of the country, namely Mashonaland East and Central into Manicaland and Harare Metropolitan Provinces. It should be warm by day, though mild in both morning and evening. All other areas (Mashonaland West, Midlands, Bulawayo Metropolitan Provinces, Matabeleland North and South, and Masvingo) should be mostly sunny and hot by day becoming mild towards evening. *IMPACTS* Hot daytime conditions can affect the health of vulnerable members of society and all other persons if exposure to direct sunlight is for an extended period of time. Lightning can strike even when clouds are distant and seemingly under blue skies, this is a scientific phenomenon called lightning from the blue. *ACTIONS TO TAKE* When outdoors, on the farm, or performing other outdoor activities for extended periods of time please wear a sunhat or be under an umbrella to protect against direct sunlight. Keep hydrated by drinking adequate amounts of water. Even when lightning is seen in a distance, it might not be safe to be outdoors. The rough rule for noting the safe zone when you see lightning is the 30-30 Rule: If you see lightning and cannot count up to 30 seconds before you hear thunder, then you are not safe from the next lightning strike. Where possible, install lightning conductors on buildings. *WEATHER OUTLOOK FOR THURSDAY 17 NOVEMBER 2022* It should be mostly sunny and hot in the afternoon across the country. Mild conditions are expected in both morning and evening hours. itel A50 now available on Pindula at $84 64GB storage, 2GB RAM. _ideal for light usage_ _If you found this article useful_ *Please support Pindula by forwarding to friends and groups*
