CITE posted pictures on Twitter showing scores of drivers seated on the ground at the ZUPCO depot. ---------- Latest itel S24 available on Pindula: 128GB storage $119 USD WhatsApp +263783450793 ---------- The drivers staged another sit-in at the same depot in August this year over delayed salaries and poor working conditions. Speaking to reporters at the time, a driver, Oscar Nare, said one of the reasons why some Zimbabweans engage in criminal activities is that those who work hard are not rewarded for their efforts. He said: > We work tirelessly every day so that we have a decent amount to cash in at the end of the day. Where is that money going? We ask management to pay us our dues, we sweat for that money. > The reason why people resort to crime is that doing something decent does not pay, you do not get what you worked for. > It’s surprising that we have worked for this company for two years but we are only seeing the management for the first time today. The drivers only returned to work after ZUPCO management paid the kombi owners who in turn paid their salaries. *More: Pindula News* itel A50 now available on Pindula at $84 64GB storage, 2GB RAM. _ideal for light usage_ _If you found this article useful_ *Please support Pindula by forwarding to friends and groups*
