*Police Arrest Drug Traffickers, Fraudsters Across The Country* *Follow Pindula on WhatsApp for daily new updates* https://whatsapp.com/channel/0029Va84dngJP21B2nWeyM3v?yt Full Statement by national police spokesperson Assistant Commissioner Nyathi on the arrest of suspects for fraud and possession of dangerous drugs. > The Zimbabwe Republic Police has intensified the fight against fraudulent activities and drug peddling syndicates in the country. > On 13th September 2021, Police arrested Elliot Mushanyire (46) in connection with a fraud case in which he duped the complainant of US $10 000-00. > The suspect connived with his accomplice, still at large, and forged some documents for a 1000m2 Crowhill residential stand, belonging to someone else, before selling it to the complainant. > Meanwhile, on 14th September 2021 at around 0800 hours, Police in Bindura arrested Ranganai Goba (43), Notes Dzenga (30) and Gonamombe Kachiere (42) after they were found in possession of 13,005 kilograms of dagga. > The suspects were intercepted at a Police checkpoint along Harare-Shamva Road, while in a Toyota Noah vehicle. > In a related case, Police in Mutare arrested Mutize Mwaparadza (39) who claimed ownership of a parcel consisting of 8 Kilograms of dagga which had been recovered from an Inter Africa bus, which was coming from Chipinge en route to Harare on 12 September 2021 at Christmas Pass. > On 13th September 2021 at about 2100 hours, Police arrested Chenaimoyo Bvukura (28) after receiving information that the suspect was in possession of Crystal Methamphetamine weighing 20,32 grammes. The illicit drug was recovered from the suspect’s home in Chitungwiza. > On 14th September 2021 at around 1600 hours Police detectives arrested Shingirai Muzanenhamo (33) after he was found in possession of 1,05 grammes of Crystal Methamphetamine in Yeovil, Mutare. > On 15th September 2021 at around 1400 hours, Police arrested Ian Muswongwe (25) after he was found in possession of three grammes of Crystal Methamphetamine at Corner Campbell and Harare Drive, Harare. > Criminals involved in drug trafficking and peddling in communities will certainly be arrested without fear or favour.
