Following Mohadi’s resignation, analysts have been throwing names of potential replacements and some of them are Defence Minister Oppah Muchinguri and Information Minister Monica Mutsvangwa. She is a woman. So we are in the presidium. We cannot talk of something which we are already in. We are already in the presidium. Senator Mbowa added that the Women’s League does not even intend to talk about the VP post because they are already part of the presidium. She said they were content “for now,” adding “maybe in the future, we will see what will come.” Philip Valerio Sibanda, the commander of the Zimbabwe National Army, is one of the people tipped to land the VP post.
