Insp Ncube said Vilakazi indicated that he was from South Africa going to Zambia but he did not have any papers proving that the groceries put on top of what he was intending to take to Zambia had been cleared. Some members of the public came to the scene and claimed to be owners of the groceries and tried to bribe the police officers. Said Insp Ncube: > They also attempted to bribe police officers who turned them down. One of the truck drivers attempted to run away and only appeared this morning to claim his vehicle as both cars were taken to Ross Camp. > We will continue doing our best to arrest anyone found with goods that are not declared as they are not welcome into the country. > We encourage members of the public to continue cooperating and to report any suspicious transactions. *More: The Herald* _If you found this article useful_ *Please support Pindula by forwarding to friends and groups*
