Football fans in Zimbabwe have intensified calls for the resumption of the sport after the Sports and Recreation Commission authorised sporting activities that fall under the low-risk sport code were authorised to resume.

The government the resumption of football this year after it had been suspended last year in March when the country recorded coronavirus infections.
