A South African cop was filmed assaulting a motorist sparking outrage on social media with many agreeing the act constituted an abuse of power.

The cop is seen slapping the motorist and also draws and cocks a gun while ordering the motorist to vanish.

Fikile Mbalula, a South African politician who is currently serving as Minister of Transport, has already demanded to have information that could lead to the identification of the cop who was recorded assaulting the motorist.
