Madondo said his wife and kids escaped through the window while his brother was caught and severely assaulted. He said the unidentified assailants poured petrol and threw a grenade on the house which exploded almost immediately after Madondo’s family had escaped. Madondo added that he reported the matter to the police but investigations never commenced.
