Prominent businessman and arts promoter Kudzanai Kangara who died of suspected COVID-19 on Sunday was buried in Bindura on Monday.

He was 46 years old.

His son, Darlington, said his late father had exhibited COVID-19 symptoms before his death. He said:

> Yes, it’s true he had Covid-19 symptoms. He had shortness of breath.

H-Metro quoted a source as saying Kangara was rushed to a hospital in Chitungwiza in an ambulance on Thursday.

> From that time he kept on deteriorating and he took his last breath on Sunday morning.

Kangara helped several musicians, among them Tocky Vibes, Madam Boss, Killer T and Kudzi Nyakudya.

Bindura-based gospel musician Lasper, who is still failing to accept the death of his promoter said it will take time for him to accept. He said:
