Dikinya, a fitness instructor, was walking parallel to the edge of the falls, missed a step, slid, failed to catch his grip on wet rocks before falling hundreds of metres into the chasm. ---------- itel A70 256GB $99USD WhatsApp: https://wa.me/+263715068543 Calls: 0772464000 ---------- His remains were found trapped within the gorge and recovered after a five-day operation by rescuers who included members of the Air Force of Zimbabwe and the Zimbabwe National Parks and Wildlife Authority rangers. The Deputy Minister of Health and Child Care, John Mangwiro, was among those who attended Dikinya’s burial ceremony. The late fitness instructor’s family thanked the Government for retrieving his remains. His mother, Eileen Dikinya, said it was disheartening to lose her son in such an unfortunate manner. She said: > It is painful, very painful to lose him this way. But we thank the efforts of those who recovered his remains. This afforded us the chance to give him a decent burial. *More: The Sunday Mail* _If you found this article useful_ *Please support Pindula by forwarding to friends and groups*
