Arrests will be effected on anyone engaged in illegal gatherings which contravene the Government’s national COVID-19 regulations and curfew order. > The public is reminded that the curfew order runs from 2200 hours till 0600 hours, the next day. Yesterday police warned the public that the country is still under lockdown and social events such as parties, all-night prayers, musical galas and concerts will not be allowed on New Year’s Eve. In a statement, Asst Comm Nyathi said all-night prayers, musical galas or concerts are allowed and bars, beer halls and night club operators should take note that they are yet to be allowed to operate.
