PSL chairman, Farai Jere said they could not secure sponsorship for the envisaged mini-tournament as companies had exhausted their budgets and were no longer in a position to fund football. Said, Jere: ---------- itel A70 256GB $99USD WhatsApp: https://wa.me/+263715068543 Calls: 0772464000 ---------- > Unfortunately, it was close to year-end and companies had exhausted their budgets and could not come on board to assist with financing the tournament. The Zimbabwe Football Association (ZIFA) was granted permission by Government to have the PSL and women’s Super League return to action after all football matches were banned in March under measures to curb the spread of the coronavirus. The competitions were set to have been held under a bio-bubble in a mini-league format but this will no longer be possible this year. *More: Sunday News* _If you found this article useful_ *Please support Pindula by forwarding to friends and groups*
