The institution has been closed since March this year when the country went into lockdown to combat the spread of SARS-CoV-2, the novel coronavirus. ---------- itel A70 256GB $99USD WhatsApp: https://wa.me/+263715068543 Calls: 0772464000 ---------- The Point of View had never been shown to the public although the latter was launched online and now people have the opportunity to physically view both for free from the 5th to the 20th of November. Youth, Sport, Arts and Recreation Minister Kirsty Coventry will be the guest of honour on the opening day. The new Executive Director of the National Gallery of Zimbabwe, Raphael Chikukwa had this to say: > This is an opportunity for the audiences to view our two exhibitions that have been in quarantine since March. > We have the Point of View by a Cuban artist David Palacios and the Cyclone Idai exhibition that marks one year after the natural disaster. > It is unfortunate that we are now confronted by yet another disaster, Covid-19, that has changed the cultural landscape. These two exhibitions will be viewed for free until November 20 but will run until early next year and the gallery has pledged to follow all Covid-19 pandemic guidelines. *More: ZTN* _If you found this article useful_ *Please support Pindula by forwarding to friends and groups*
