The road and rail bridge is under construction over the Zambezi river between Zambia and Botswana at Kazungula. It will give trucks to Zambia, Malawi and DRC a way to bypass Zimbabwe. Zimbabwe has been the gateway into the Southern African Development Community (SADC) region. This will affect Zimbabwe’s revenue inflows.
