Olympique Lyonnais strikers Memphis Depay and Moussa Dembélé have sent messages in support of team-mate Tinotenda Kadewere who recently lost his brother Prince.

Posting on microblogging site Twitter following Lyon’s shock 3-1 UEFA Champions quarterfinal win over Manchester City in Lisbon, Portugal on Saturday night, Depay wrote:

Dembélé, who came on as a late second-half substitute and scored two quickfire goals, urged Kadewere to be strong. He wrote:

Kadewere flew back to Zimbabwe for the funeral and was not present to cheer for his team when they progressed to the semifinal round where they will face German champions Bayern Munich on Wednesday.
