GroundUp reports that Limpopo transport department spokesperson Matome Taueatsoala said they were informed by the South Africa Police Service (SAPS) that the delays were caused by the closure of a “transit shed” on the Zimbabwean side. ---------- Latest itel S24 available on Pindula: 128GB storage $119 USD WhatsApp +263783450793 ---------- Newancy Mudzimurenga, a driver for J F Transport told GroundUp that he had been at the border since July 26th and has barely moved. He said: > I really do not know what is going on at the border. Since I joined the queue on Sunday evening 26 July I have not yet moved even 900 metres. The queue has stretched back about 15km to Nancefield in Musina, with trucks crossing into Zimbabwe or on their way to Zambia, the Democratic Republic of Congo and Tanzania stuck. Truck drivers have reportedly switched to the Beitbridge border from the Kazangula border post between South Africa and Botswana because once they get into Botswana they are quarantined, whereas there is no quarantine for drivers in Zimbabwe. *More: GroundUp* itel A50 now available on Pindula at $84 64GB storage, 2GB RAM. _ideal for light usage_ _If you found this article useful_ *Please support Pindula by forwarding to friends and groups*
