He also said that essential services will remain allowed during predetermined working hours and places. He also said that the Ministry of Mines and Mining Development was allowed to resume or scale up operations adding that workers should be tested and screened for coronavirus ahead of this expected development. The workers had, for the duration of the lockdown, been confined to their workplaces. Agriculture and security sectors also remain allowed to operate as they provide “essential services” to the nation, Mnangagwa said.
