Biti who is the ousted MDC Alliance vice president intended to address members of the media at the party’s headquarters, Morgan Richard Tsvangirai, former Harvest in Harare CBD. ---------- Latest itel S24 available on Pindula: 128GB storage $119 USD WhatsApp +263783450793 ---------- Biti was as a result compelled to address the media at his Milton Park law firm offices. Addressing the media, he said: > It is regrettable that as you saw the police barred us from having this press conference at our party head office at Morgan Tsvangirai House. Although the reason which made the police to block the presser is not known, it is assumed that it was blocked on grounds that it violated the ban on gatherings. Zimbabwe is currently on a 21-day lockdown which the government started implementing this Monday and people have been prohibited from living their homes. Some believe that the lockdown was effected partly to make sure that no one will take it to the streets to protest the court ruling which some say reflects capture of the judiciary by the ruling ZANU PF.
