*"No 2023 Elections Until The 2018 Elections Dispute Is Resolved," - MDC* *Follow Pindula on WhatsApp for daily new updates* https://whatsapp.com/channel/0029Va84dngJP21B2nWeyM3v?no The opposition MDC led by Nelson Chamisa has threatened to boycott the 2023 elections if the 2018 elections dispute has not been resolved. The party claims that the Zimbabwe Electoral Commission in connivance with the ruling ZANU PF manipulated the outcome of the 2018 presidential election in favour of ZANU PF candidate, President Emmerson Mnangagwa. ---------- itel A70 256GB $99USD WhatsApp: https://wa.me/+263715068543 Calls: 0772464000 ---------- The party challenged the outcome at the Constitutional Court and lost the case with the court saying that Chamisa had failed to present evidence to prove that the election had been rigged. Recently, whilst launching the party’s Agenda 2020, Chamisa claimed that MDC had found new evidence to prove that the election was rigged and was planning to approach SADC. Meanwhile, addressing hundreds of party supporters at Mucheke Hall in Masvingo on Friday where the party was celebrating two years since the death of founding leader Morgan Tsvangirai, Chamisa suggested his party may boycott the 2023 elections. He said: > Zanu PF should accept they rigged the 2018 harmonised elections. If they do accept that, we might not take part in the 2023 elections until the 2018 elections dispute is resolved. Analysts have often said that the MDC should not have participated in the election since electoral reforms had not been effected.
