Former Warriors and Dynamos FC coach Callisto Pasuwa on Monday agreed to a one-year contract with Malawi Premiership champions Nyasa Big Bullets.

The deal was finalised at 4.30 pm yesterday and would run from February 1, 2020, up to January 31, 2021, covering a total of 12 months.

Some media reports in Malawi had earlier reported that Pasuwa had returned to Zimbabwe following disagreements over the terms of a two-year-deal.

However, speaking to The Herald on Monday, Pasuwa’s close friend Dee Shorai Muchineripi said:

> There was no misunderstanding between Mana (Pasuwa) and Nyasa as reported in other sections of Malawi media.

> His return to Zimbabwe has nothing to do with his contract, although three clauses were still pending and they were ironing them out over the weekend.

> The two parties were always going to reach an amicable agreement and Mana has agreed to another one-year contract.

Meanwhile, Pasuwa is expected to put his signature on the dotted line once he returns to Blantyre on Wednesday.
