*Strive Masiyiwa's Offer Leaves Doctors In A Quandary* *Follow Pindula on WhatsApp for daily new updates* https://whatsapp.com/channel/0029Va84dngJP21B2nWeyM3v?bq Strive Masiyiwa’s offer to medical doctors through the Higherlife Foundation has left them divided, with 386 doctors returning to work while the rest have chosen to stay at home. A junior doctor at Parirenyatwa Group of Hospitals who spoke to Zim Morning Post this week, on condition that his identity is not revealed said that senior doctors and consultancy are still on strike. The doctor is quoted as saying: ---------- itel A70 256GB $99USD WhatsApp: https://wa.me/+263715068543 Calls: 0772464000 ---------- > Only 386 doctors have since returned to work, but they are just junior doctors who are not doing any work since senior doctors and the consultancy are still on strike. Another doctor told the publication that it was illogical to enter into a contract of employment with Masiyiwa when the government was the doctors’ employer. Last month, Higherlife Foundation, an NGO founded by Strive and Tsitsi Masiyiwa offered to contribute towards doctors’ salaries in a bid to end the impasse between government and doctors. The organisation offered to pay an extra monthly amount of ZWL$5,000 (US$310), a smartphone, transport and some medical equipment. *More: Zim Morning Post* _If you found this article useful_ *Please support Pindula by forwarding to friends and groups*
