He said that the transmission of the virus is possible when partners have bleeding gums and blood components are exchanged since blood has the high concentration of the virus. Mr Jonga also said that oral testing which determines that one is positive or negative does not use saliva but a mixture of fluids in the mouth. He said that tests identify antibodies released by the body when one is positive.
