Speaking at the graduation ceremony, Mpilo hospital clinical director, Solwayo Ngwenya appealed to the government to unfreeze posts in the health sector which the government froze to reduce expenditure. Ngwenya said: > We still need a lot of posts to be unfrozen … I call on the government to unfreeze these critical posts so that we can employ more specialists and ensure that the graduating nurses are absorbed into the system. The medical health caregivers graduate when the health sector in the country is grounded as noted by the inadequacy of medicines and equipment.
