Former South African president Thabo Mbeki is seen addressing a congregation he tells he has never met a single Zimbabwean who wanted Mugabe deposed. Referring to the November 2017 that saw Mugabe being toppled from power by his lieutenants, Mbeki says the fact that he doesn’t know anyone who wanted Mugabe deposed shows the matter was complicated.

President Mbeki said this when he was giving a speech at the Robert Mugabe Memorial in Durban yesterday. Watch the video below:

Mbeki has been involved in Zimbabwean politics of late, early this year opined that the MDC must be part of POLAD and him and Jacob Zuma and Cyril Ramaphosa attended Robert Mugabe’s Funeral held at the National Sports stadium on Saturday he also attended late national hero Dumiso Dabengwa’s funeral in June.
