The late former president’s body is lying in state at his residence in Borrowdale Brooke popularily known as the Blue roof, ZBC News Online revealed. The body was taken to One Commando from the airport where the soldiers were given the chance to pay their last respects to the fallen leader. According to ZBC

> President Emmerson Mnangagwa, the First Lady, Amai Auxillia Mnangagwa, Vice President Cde Kembo Mohadi, Cabinet Ministers, Provincial Ministers, Amai Grace Mugabe and family members accompanied the body to the residence.

> Earlier, President Mnangagwa addressed mourners, who turned in their numbers to receive the body of the revolutionary icon at the Robert Mugabe International Airport and urged Zimbabweans to remain peaceful, loving and united.

Burial arrangments are still to be announced as of this evening. However, a funeral service will be held for the president at the National sports stadium on Saturday and 30 heads of states are expected to attend.
