According to the World Bank Nigeria has 12% of all the poor people in the world. ** *Democratic Republic of Congo* The country has about 87 million people and is home to about 7% of all the world’s poor people. *Ethiopia* With a population of 112 million people, the World Bank says Ethiopia has about 4% of all the poor people in the world. *Bangladesh* Also in South Asia, Bangladesh is home to 3% of the world’s poor people. The country has a population of about 165 million.
