This is premised at restoring the public trust in the uniformed forces that is currently scarce. Lately, the name ZRP has become synonymous with corruption, brutality, looting, insincerity, and subjectivity. This was as a result of corruption by some officers, particularly in the traffic section who would demand bribes from motorists. The brutality was often seen during demonstrations and when chasing away illegal vendors.
