NewsDay reports that Sangatwe is yet to be retired from the army despite the announcement in February. He has been appointed the Zimbabwean ambassador to Tanzania. Sangatwe is among 16 new ambassadors deployed to various countries yesterday. Sangatwe is one of the four senior army commanders president Mnangagwa retired and deployed to the Foreign Affairs ministry in February. Rumours have been circulating since then suggesting that there was a fallout between president Mnangagwa and vice president Chiwenga over the top commanders’ retirement.
