We had a very productive discussion around those issues. Mpofu also said that the discussions that were centred on the reform agenda were essential in ironing out issues between the two jurisdictions. He said: > The discussion we had this morning revolved around reforms; constitutional reforms, the land policy, the Motlanthe Commission, economic issues to do with the sanctions, the issues to do with our currency and other related issues. > But I can assure you that the meeting was very helpful in terms of issues topical between us. On the issue of the Commonwealth, the ambassador spoke strongly about the need for Zimbabwe to go back to the Commonwealth. *Related:* WATCH: UK Speaks On Zim Readmission Into Commonwealth & Sanctions Britain Monitoring How Cases Against MDC MPs Are Being Handled Britain Is Just A Member: Mnangagwa Responds To Baldwin’s Statement UK Will Not Support Zimbabwe’s Application To Rejoin The Commonwealth We Have Not Offended Anybody, What We Are Doing Is Good For Zimbabwe: Mnangagwa Responds To Britain’s Call For More Sanctions On Zimbabwe More: The Zimbabwe Mail _If you found this article useful_ *Please support Pindula by forwarding to friends and groups*
