Said Matiza: > Yes, her resignation was turned down until her case which is before the courts are finalised. Her resignation letter states that she has served long enough and wants to resign, but it was felt that she should wait for the finalisation of her case. Karonga is currently on bail on corruption charges. She was jointly charged with Civil Aviation Authority of Zimbabwe general manager David Chawota. The duo allegedly used a company they had formed, called Akodac Consultancy Services in 2009 which was awarded a tender by the Zimbabwe Road Admisitrauon Authority (ZINARA) in the same Ministry were Karonga is a director.
