The publication further reports Mzembi has recruited South African-based Zimbabwe businessman Mutumwa Mawere, as well as political activists Mr Dhewa Mavhinga and Miriam Mutizwa, in his quest for regime change through engagement with the United States and the European Union. Mzembi and Kasukuwere reportedly intend to take South African President Cyril Ramaphosa to court and force him to act against Zimbabwean authorities. The duo also wants to use South African opposition party, the Economic Freedom Fighters led by Julius Malema. The Herald says this is contained in a leaked WhatsApp conversation between Mzembi and Mawere. Although The Heraldd could not get a comment from Mzembi, Mawere acknowledged the chat but denied that their discussion was about regime change.
