Hamadziripi replaces Isaac Moyo who was appointed Director General of the the Central Intelligence Organisation (CIO) in December replacing Happyton Bonyongwe. Hamadziripi’s appointment was announced by Chief Secretary to the President and Cabinet Misheck Sibanda in the Government Gazette released on Friday. Hamadziripi served as Zimbabwe’s ambassador to France under Robert Mugabe. He also served as acting Foreign Affairs secretary.
