Munodawafa said the African Development Bank is raising funds for the 2,400-megawatt project which will be located downstream from Victoria Falls on the Zambezi River which is between Zambia and Zimbabwe. Batoka will help meet rising demand for electricity in Zambia and Zimbabwe, which is expected to more than double by 2035, according to EY, an adviser on the project. The countries will operate separate power plants. ---------- Latest itel S24 available on Pindula: 128GB storage $119 USD WhatsApp +263783450793 ---------- More: Bloomberg itel A50 now available on Pindula at $84 64GB storage, 2GB RAM. _ideal for light usage_ _If you found this article useful_ *Please support Pindula by forwarding to friends and groups*
