*Zimra System Breaks Down, Importers Stranded At Borders* *Follow Pindula on WhatsApp for daily new updates* https://whatsapp.com/channel/0029Va84dngJP21B2nWeyM3v?iw Zimbabwe Revenue Authority (Zimra) head of communications Mr Canisio Mudzimu last week told The Herald that the Automated System for Customs Data (ASYCUDA) had broken down resulting in hundreds of car importers being stranded at Beitbridge and Kazungula border post for more than a week. Mudzimu said that the situation had been rectified but the system is still down and this has delayed the movement of commercial cargo. Car importers accused Zimra of lacking customer care. Said one Crispen Chipato: ---------- Latest itel S24 available on Pindula: 128GB storage $119 USD WhatsApp +263783450793 ---------- > We have been waiting for several days for our vehicles to be cleared. There was a system failure and nothing is being done. This is grossly unfair and we urge Zimra to urgently address this problem. All they do is tell customers that the system is down and they relax. They don’t care how much money people spend as they wait here for the system to normalise. Some people had to go back home.
