*Herald Columnist Says Lobbying For Mugabe UN Appointment Was A Brainless Move, Advises Mzembi To Learn International Relations* *Follow Pindula on WhatsApp for daily new updates* https://whatsapp.com/channel/0029Va84dngJP21B2nWeyM3v?dm Australian based Herald columnist Reason Wafawarova has advised Minister of Foreign Affairs Walter Mzembi to learn the difference between Public Relations and International Relations. This comes after Mzembi claimed that he had lobbied for President Robert Mugabe to be appointed Goodwill Ambassador for Non-Communicable Diseases for the World Health Organisation, only for the UN-agency to rescind the appointment a few days later. Wafawarova described the lobbying as an “impressive way to win the contest for the Idiot of the Century Award.” In a previous post, Wafawarova described the lobbying as a “brainless move.” Writting on his personal Facebook page, Wafawarova says: > Any darn fool would have known better than lobby for a UN ambassadorial role for RGM. Who heads our intelligence? Brainless move. I am a practitioner and I hope my brother Walter realises the folly of his initiative by now. There is no doubt the man meant well. > You can jump into a crocodile infested pool to impress, and you could even come out alive, but such a stunt to a zoologist is what the idea of lobbying for an ambassadorial role in health affairs for our President at this juncture is to an International Relations Scholar – a dangerous and reckless move bound to be disastrous. Wafawarova also suggests that Mzembi may be incompetent at his new job saying the debacle was unlikely to happen under former Foreign Affairs Minister Simbarashe Mumbengegwi. Says Wafawarova: > The diplomatic war post the UN appointment was predictable. Hard to believe the appointment would have happened under Mbengegwi. itel A50 now available on Pindula at $84 64GB storage, 2GB RAM. _ideal for light usage_ _If you found this article useful_ *Please support Pindula by forwarding to friends and groups*
