*Opposition parties comment on cabinet reshuffle* *Follow Pindula on WhatsApp for daily new updates* https://whatsapp.com/channel/0029Va84dngJP21B2nWeyM3v?gh MDC-T, National People’s Party (NPP) and Alliance for the People’s Agenda (APA) spoke against the recent cabinet reshuffle by President Robert Mugabe. MDC-T spokesperson Obert Gutu said that the reshuffle and the creation of the Ministry of Cyber Security headed by Patrick Chinamasa was meant to control social media ahead of the 2018 elections. Said Gutu: ---------- itel A70 256GB $99USD WhatsApp: https://wa.me/+263715068543 Calls: 0772464000 ---------- > He (Mugabe) will do whatever it takes to control and muzzle social media in order to suppress public discontent against his corrupt regime. This is why Chinamasa, an intolerant and temperamental fascist himself, has been tasked to head the newly-created Cyber-security ministry. NPP secretary-general Gift Nyandoro said that the reshuffle has nothing to do with fixing the economy but is part of Zanu-PF succession wars. Said Nyandoro: > The exercise has nothing to do with economic deliverables, but establishing of a loyal and submissive bootlicking team to his (Mugabe’s) ever shouting wife and, hence, the surprise package of ‘Cremora’ Webster Shamu. To suggest that the reshuffle has anything to do with performance would require such proponents to tell Zimbabweans the economic deliverables of the Ministry of Psychomotor Skills and Ignatius Chombo, who headed Home Affairs. APA leader Nkosana Moyo reiterated the need for a smaller cabinet while the Welshman Ncube led MDC criticised the appointment of CIO director general Happyton Bonyongwe saying that it was a strategy to weaken the court system. Said MDC-N spokesperson Kurauone Chihwayi: > The sinister motives of the so-called reshuffle is evidenced by the appointment of CIO [Central Intelligence Organisation] boss Happyton Bonyongwe into the Justice ministry, which by one stroke, has reduced the courts and other vital public institutions into CIO projects.
