Vice President Emmerson Mnangagwa has dismissed claims by first lady Grace Mugabe that Masvingo province ( together with Midlands) is disrespectful and needed to be restructured. Mnangwaga said that Masvingo was a sovereign province which should not be intimidated. Speaking at late Masvingo Provincial Affairs minister Shuvai Mahofa’s memorial service in Gutu on Saturday, Mnangagwa said

Those who castigate the province don’t know what the future holds and when things come to a head, we will try to see where each one of us stands.
